*3 Grid IPA* (Bryan’s Favorite) - I.B.U.’s 62 6.7% abv.
The 3-Grid IPA is our flagship ale. This India Pale Ale’s citrus notes are created by Chinook, Cascade, Columbus and Amarillo hops from Yakima Valley, making it a true Northwest-style crowd pleaser. The alchemists at Schooner EXACT balance the hoppiness with a hint of malt, making this IPA one that pleases the staunchest of hopheads as well as the microbrew newbie.
*Profanity Hill Porter* - I.B.U.’s 33 5.5% abv.
This rich mahogany porter blends seven different malts to produce flavors of chocolate and walnuts, and it has subtle fruity notes that almost remind you of a chocolate covered cherry. A moderate bitterness balances the roasted malt, and a dry finish carries through to the end.
*King St. Brown* - I.B.U.’s 32 5.5% abv.
King Street Brown is the answer for those wanting a slightly more malty experience. Made in classic Schooner EXACT fashion, the beer achieves the tricky balance of malty, but not too sweet; full of flavor but not too full on the stomach. Brewed with a blend of chocolate and special Belgian malts, this beer has a roasty, nutty flavor nuanced with hints of stone fruit and leaves you with a dry lingering finish.
*Hoppy the Woodsman* - I.B.U.’s 60 9% abv.
Bourbon Barrel Aged Winter Ale. Need you say more? A big brother to Hoppy Holidays, this winter ale has gained a level of complexity and intrigue during those months luxuriating in its bourbon barrel haven. Chocolate malt and a healthy dose of hops help maintain balance.
